    Gui Fei Oolong, one of the "100 famous teas of China" is a unique varietal Oolong brought to Taiwan decades ago and now grown in high mountains of Taiwan. The plum and osmanthus aromas surprised us and then it's toasty pleasing taste wowed us.


    This tea reminds us of an excellent well oxidized and toasty Ti Kwan Yin, yet with more depth and robustness. Brewing twice makes this an excellent value.


    We are also offering this tea in an attractive 1.1 lb (500 gm) factory vacuum pack.

I am not a tea connoisseur by any means, but I do enjoy a nice cup of tea almost anytime winter or summer makes no difference to me. This is very flavorful tea and i normally get 3 solid steeps per level teaspoon and the flavor is just as good as the first steep, sometimes I push for a 4th steep by adding just a pinch of new tea to my strainer. This tea seems to be of higher quality than the oolongs that I can find in the various Asian markets that we have here in Lincoln Ne. Because of price this wont be my daily drinker, I will still use the Tie Quan Yin for that, but this is a very fine tea that I will drink every week for sure. I recently ordered a 4oz bag of this fine tea and figure it will last me a considerable while.
