Green Rooibos is carefully picked by hand to avoid bruising the leaves, then shade dried, yielding two to 20 times more antioxidants than Red Rooibos. Studies show green Rooibos to have one of the highest known levels of SOD (super oxide dismutase), a cellular anti-mutagen. It has a mild, sweet green tea taste and never gets bitter.
