A bit bitter

I have ordered & loved several Assam teas. This one, though, was not as smooth & sweet as the others I have had. Others in my family agree with me.

Good, full-bodied breakfast tea

Takes milk well, but it's generally a little milder and less assertive than the Bukhail Assam.

All recent purchases depart for Porto, Portugal in a week or so. My best friend says Portugal is a desert for good tea, and since he is an Assam fan, Strand Tea is where I shop either before he visits us or we visit him. His son who lives in LA sometimes delivers to his Pop. Just know we are going to make one being very happy!

This is a lovely tea. I keep looking for a replacement of Mukulbari (sp) Assam. It was my 5 star.
