Jin Jun Mei, sometimes called 'Gift of Heaven', is a rare and special black tea from the Wuyi mountain range in Fujian. (Wuyi is home to many of the most exquisite teas in high mountain China)

The leaf is superbly made of the finest golden and tender tips. Jin Jun Mei yields a full bodied, layered, yet smooth liquor with a slightly honey like aftertaste. Cupping it here at Strand Tea it compares to a fine Yunnan with more depth.

excellent

full body, wonderfully fragrant, slightly woody, honey like flavor. I use quite a lot (2.45 grams for just a little over a cup), brew it only three minutes, but several times.

寻找..单丛..茶

在波特兰市住着很多来至广东台山市的华人。他们喜欢产至潮州一种叫··单丛..的茶叶,你们可以进口这种茶叶吗?

Unusally smooth yet flavorful

Strand sent me a sample of this tea. I brewed exactly as indicated on the package, 2 tsp per cup. I use a large mug so used 4 tsp with boiling water. Steeped for 5 minutes. I'm embarrassed to say that I always add stevia to my tea, but this one is very drinkable even without stevia (I still add a teeny bit). I'm going to try to learn to drink tea without sweetner of any kind by ordering more of this tea. A little honey might enhance it, but it's delicious plain. Like a fine scotch!
