  • Authentic Matcha Japanese powdered green tea. Super Grade Kansai from superior grade Gyokuro leaf from Japan.

    The origin of Matcha is synonymous with the Zen Japanese Tea Ceremony (Cha-No-Yu) dating back 5 centuries. The highest quality Gyokuro Jade Dew or other similiar high quality green tea leaves were hand ground immediately prior to the Tea Ceremony. This is the quality we are offering.

    Hiki-cha, a powdered green tea of a much less quality, has been imported into North America over the past few years. and has been mislabeled as Matcha.

The right balance of grassy and bitterness with a mellow sweetness.

Excellent matcha! I had a Strand matcha in a coffee shop while visiting Oregon last year and was delighted by the taste, color, and smoothness. Thankfully I was able to buy a canister and take it home and now am able to order online. I have spent lots of time and money looking for something I could find in Japan.. vibrant with the right balance of grassy and bitter with a mellow sweetness . This one checks all my boxes.

SO GOOD! Grassy without any fishy taste. Strong. Tastes like tannins and freshness. Keeps my energy up all day. I love to make it with ice and oat milk and a bit of maple syrup.

It's Bonafide! A most splendid matrcha

This matcha is a splendid value. I have tried and wasted $$ on several of the fancy matcha brands on Amazon. Most are overpriced junk cut with low grade green tea and priced as ceremonial grade when it is clearly not. This matcha is vibrant neon green. It has a flavor like no other and the many health benefits of matcha are verified by many clinical studies. I strive to drink 3 or 4 cups per day .I don't add anything or make lattes so I cant speak to that. I drink my matcha neat just like my whiskey. I say if you are looking for matcha real matcha get it here.If you are looking for authentic bonafide matcha this is the real stuff sourced from Japan. Life can be fast and stressful have a nice cup of Matcha and let life slow down a little bit. That's what I say.
