Contains a slight amount of matine (a cousin of caffeine but much more easily metabolized by the body), and lots of nutrients. Maté Yerba Tea has long been popular in South America for its effect in producing mental clarity and stamina without "jitteriness" or caffeine withdrawal in most people.
